SILVER For Luna the Donkey

What a fantastic way to end the year, with a Silver Award for Luna the Donkey in The Training Barn's Equine Photographer of the Year. The award is held once a year, and I was delighted to be sitting side-by-side with some of the most talented equestrian photographers in the UK.

I met Luna earlier this year for her photoshoot. We planned for the Spring whilst her coat was still thick and shaggy, which made a lovely change as we usually avoid fluffy coats on horses. Her owner Amanda purchased Luna during the pandemic lockdown, and spent many hours playing and building their relationship together. She is a very talented football player, and also jumps small jumps.
